This is a growth-oriented position in which the SEO Account Manager is responsible for learning and expanding on the foundational principles of SEO. SEO Account Managers play an active role in shaping our client’s websites in the home builder industry by enhancing user experience and overall website functionality. As the main Point-of-Contact, the SEO Account Manager acts as both a consultant and advocate for the client to ensure all goals are being met.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years’ experience doing hands on SEO
  • 1+ years of being client facing
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical thinker
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • A drive to learn and grow constantly and a passion for implementing new strategies
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Team player
  • Basic HTML knowledge, CSS a plus

Tasks Include:

  • Completing SEO audits and optimization of client sites using an array of tools and content management systems (CMS).
  • Keyword research and analysis using Google Webmaster Tools, Keyword Planner, and similar tools.
  • Competitive research/analysis, as well as reputation management tasks focused on branded queries
  • Providing and implementing on-page recommendations, including everything from basic title tags to structured data markup
  • Facilitating Monthly client calls and managing ongoing client initiatives
  • Executing off-site/local search initiatives
  • Implementing tracking “snippets” (i.e. JavaScript code) for Google Analytics, Tag Manager, AdWords, etc.
  • Debugging often required
  • “Integrating” GA and GTM is often required, whether this is for event tracking, using custom dimensions, or the endless other possibilities offered by these tools
  • Working with our PPC team for efforts relating to both SEO and PPC
  • Providing monthly reporting, and creating opportunities for improvements—must have a desire to achieve and report on results
  • Laying out 30-60-90 day plans for client campaigns
  • Being part of and contributing to the SEO team as it grows and scales
